22 And behold, a woman a [a]Canaanite came out of the same coasts, and cried, saying unto him, Have mercy on me, O Lord, the son of David: my daughter is miserably vexed with a devil.

23 [b]But he answered her not a word. Then came to him his disciples, and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she crieth after us.

24 But he answered, and said, I am not sent, but unto the (A)lost sheep of the [c]house of Israel.
